What is the best time to Visit Uganda?

Tourism in Uganda generally is an all year round activity-YES. However, the best time to visit is during the dry season months! You should note that the country has 2 climatic seasons namely; the wet season and the dry season. The wet season takes place in the months of March, April and November. These months are also regarded as low season in the Tourism business. These months are characterized by heavy rain fall almost throughout the country and low temperatures of between 15 to 22 degrees Celsius. The tourist destinations are not crowded with tourists and prices for tour packages are discounted hence the term “Low season” The dry season on the other hand starts from Late December, January and February, then in June, July and late August and temperatures range from 18 to 31 degrees Celsius. These are called High/peak season here in Uganda because most outside countries are having summer holidays and can have time to travel and have vacations or Work leaves.  Lastly, the months of May, September and October are moderate with a little bit of rain fall and a little bit of sunshine. They are regarded as shoulder season in the tourism industry here.
