Day 1: Nairobi

On arrival at Nairobi International Airport our representative will transfer you to the hotel for overnight in a bed and breakfast basis, Metro Hotel (C) or Golden Tulip Westgate Nairobi (E). BB

Day 2: Transfer to Samburu National Reserve

After breakfast you transfer back to the base hotel. Proceed further North across the Equator to the edge of the Northern Frontier district of Samburu – The Samburu National Reserve. Arrival will be in time for lunch and thereafter, enjoy an afternoon game drive in this reserve famous the ‘Big Cats’ – the Leopard, Cheetah and the Lion. Dinner and overnight at Samburu Sopa Lodge (C) or Sarova Shaba Game Lodge (E). Full Board

Day 3: Samburu National Reserve / Buffalo Springs

Today you will have game drives viewing along the tracks of Samburu National Reserve, one in the morning and one long in the evening explore Buffalo Springs. In the afternoon do a game drive that brings you closer to the indigenous resident species including reticulated giraffes, Grevy’s zebra, the Somali ostrich, Beisa oryx, and long-necked gerenuk. Return to the lodge for lunch and for dinner, overnight at Samburu Sopa Lodge (C) or Sarova Shaba Game Lodge (E). Full Board

Day 4: Transfer to OlPajeta Conservancy

After a relaxed breakfast, you will be transferred to OlPajeta Conservancy. On arrival, you will be welcomed by the ever-smiling team of the conservancy. It offers some of the most spectacular wildlife viewing that Kenya has to offer including big cats, elephants and endangered black rhinos. Spent the day with the last 2 living northern white rhinos. In the afternoon, take a game Look out for majestic leopards and lions, roam the vast landscape. As the sun goes down, return to the camp for dinner and overnight. Day 5: Lake Nakuru National Park

Leave after breakfast and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. Depending on time you will stop over at the Thompson Falls and descend the escarpment of the Great Rift Valley down to the park. Lunch. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in this small game and bird-filled park, famous for its population of flamingoes, rhinos, leopards, lions, giraffes. As you drive to the hills surrounding the park, you can enjoy a stunning panoramic view of the lake. Return to your lodge or camping at dusk for dinner and overnight, Lake Nakuru Lodge (C) or Sarova Lion Hill (E) Full Board

Day 6: Maasai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, continue the journey past the Maasai town of Narok to the legendary Maasai Mara National Reserve – to many, the jewel and highlight of the safari expedition. Lunch. Enjoy an afternoon game drive returning to your lodge or camping for dinner and overnight, Mara Sopa Lodge (C) Sarova Mara (D) or Mara Explorer and Camp (E). Full Board

Day 7: Maasai Mara National Reserve

A full day in the Mara with game drive early morning and late afternoon, each of about 3 hours. This is where millions of wildebeest cross the Mara River from the Serengeti National Park of Tanzania to the Maasai Mara Game Reserve of Kenya – an annual spectacular event, which brings along thousands of plains game and predators to the Mara. From June to October the migration is from Kenya to Tanzania, while from November to May is from Serengeti to Maasai Mara. However, the phenomenon is more linked to the actual changes of weather. Day 8: Maasai Mara – Nairobi

An early morning game drive in the Mara is followed by breakfast and thereafter, return to Nairobi to arrive by mid afternoon. Lunch enroute. Transfer to the airport for your flight connection. Half Board
