A safari that takes you to some of Uganda’s amazing national parks. Lets you trek Mountain Gorillas, see animals of the savanna and search for Tree climbing Lions of Ishasha.
Day 1: Arrival and transfer to your hotel (evening Tour to Ndere cultural centre depending on time of arrival)
Day 2: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National park-Evening game drive
Day 3: Early morning wildlife viewing at Kasenyi- Evening Boat Cruise
Day 4: Tree-climbing lions in Ishasha and transfer to Bwindi
Day 5: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park –Relaxation on Lake Bunyonyi
Day 6: Transfer back to Kampala
Day 7: Transfer back to Entebbe international airport/You can have an optional city tour.
Day 1: Arrival and transfer to your hotel (evening Tour to Ndere cultural centre depending on time of arrival)
On your arrival at Entebbe international airport (EBB), you will be met by our company staff who will brief you and transfer you to your hotel for relaxation. You will have a tour to Ndere cultural centre which a famous gate way and a home of performing arts where diverse African cultures are show cased through music, dance and drama. Dinner and overnight stay at Maries Royale Hotel
Day 2: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National park-Evening game drive
After having breakfast, check out and drive to Queen Elizabeth National park. You will have a stopover for lunch in Mbarara, arriving in the evening for wildlife viewing as you drive to your lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight at Parkview Safari Lodge
Day 3: Early morning wildlife viewing at Kasenyi- Evening Boat Cruise
After Breakfast we embark to see the parks early risers, here are the big 4 once again. After lunch it is time for the Classic highlight of the 2hrs boat-cruise on the famous Kazinga channel, a 36kms channel linking Lake George to Lake Edward. On the banks you can see land and water Adapted Hippopotamuses Yawning and some slashing canines to each other and the National Geographical society Killing machine the Nile crocodile gaping along the Banks! You will have dinner and overnight at Parkview Safari Lodge
Day 4: Tree-climbing lions in Ishasha and transfer to Bwindi
Transfer through the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park on the way to Bwindi, this area is known for its tree-climbing lions. You will be amazed to see them resting on Fig tree branches in the afternoon or under the shades.
In Ishasha we will drive off in this adventurous vast savannah area with Topis and the southern version of Elephants to hopefully get the Lions high in the fig tree branches. Continue the transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla safari Lodge
Day 5: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park –Relaxation on Lake Bunyonyi
Have an early breakfast and get ready for the big highlight of this safari. Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park is the home to the forest giants, the mountain gorillas, and on this day you get to meet them. You will set off into the forest with a specialized guide, trek through beautiful nature and finally get to spend one hour in the area where the mountain gorillas are. Besides the gorillas this Impenetrable Forest is full of birds, butterflies and plant species plus forest hog, forest Elephants. In the evening, you may opt for a hike to one of the surrounding islands or swim in the lake. Dinner and overnight at Bunyonyi Eco resort
Day 6: Transfer back to Kampala
Check out and embark on an exciting road trip back to Kampala with en route lunch in Mbarara. A stopover will be made at the Equator line for experiment and Photography, arriving in the evening. Dinner and overnight at Maries Royale Hotel
Day 7: Transfer back to Entebbe international airport/You can have an optional city tour.
After breakfast at your pace, check out and be transferred to Entebbe international airport to readily catch your flight back home as you say farewell to the pearl of Africa!!
