 Day 1: Entebbe – Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary – Murchison Falls National Park  

Early morning with breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel in Kampala then depart by road driving northwards to Masindi. We shall be visiting Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino Trekking. The sanctuary provides trained rangers who will ably guide you through this expedition. You will have the opportunity to observe the rhinos at a very close and safe distance. Lunch, after transfer to the Murchison Falls National Park and dinner and overnight at Fort Murchison Camp. Meal plan: F/B

Day 2: Game Drive & Boat Cruise  

After breakfast head to the Delta in search for bird life and enjoy the game drive to look for lions, giraffes, herds of elephants, buffaloes and many more. We will drive back to the lodge for lunch before taking an afternoon boat cruise to the foot of Murchison Falls. This boat trip along the Nile is often cited as being the highlight of a trip to Murchison since it allows you to get up-close and personal with the animals. Along this stretch of the river, there are reported to be around 4,000 hippos in addition to some enormous Nile crocodiles. The bird life is stunning with brightly colored kingfishers and bee-eaters darting along the riverbanks. If lucky, you may see the rare and prehistoric American. Victors on Uganda Tour of Murchison Falls looking shoe bill, which is a cross between the dodo and a dinosaur. The boat takes you to the base of the falls which only adds to their impressiveness. Day 3: Game Drive & Boat to Delta

With early morning breakfast we do another game drive at the Buligi game tracks on the northern bank with a trained guide is a fantastic way to see and photograph the wide range of animals in the Nile valley. Your guide will have a good idea where the lions are hiding, and you may even spot a leopard at dusk. In the evening you take a boat cruise downstream to the Nile- Lake Albert Delta which offers a tranquil sun downer cruise that offers the classic view of an equatorial sunset reflected on the river. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight. Meal plan: F/B

Day 4: Murchison – Kabwoya Game Reserve  

After your breakfast in the morning take en-route game drive to spot more wildlife species that Murchison offers and after drive to Kabwoya wildlife Reserve located in the scenic Albertine Rift along with Lake Albert with the Blue Mountains of the Congo in the distance. We take the scenic route and cross over the escarpment into the valley below where the Kabwoya Wildlife Reserve is located. Check into Lake Albert Lodge, located on a cliff overlooking Lake Albert. Late Lunch, refresh in the pool from the journey. Choice of activities include: Horseback Riding Safari -Guided Walks – Guided Waterfalls Hikes -Self Guided Walks – Game Drive -Fishing Village Visit – boat cruise and then dinner and overnight at the lodge. Day 5: Kabwoya Game Drive – Kibale Forest National Park 

Breakfast and a morning activity are chosen by you such as guided walk and others above.  We then depart for Kibale Forest, driving to some beautiful countryside which is a bonus along the way.  Lunch along the journey and of course we provide drinking Water while in the vehicle as we travel. We reach Kibale Forest Area where we check into Kibale Primate Lodge/Kibale Forest Camp where you stay in an up-market tented cottage with dinner and overnight. Meal plan: F/B

Day 6: Chimpanzee Trekking/Habituation 

With early morning breakfast you head to Kanyanchu Visitor center at 08.00 & 15.00 and lasts 2 to 3 hours. Chimpanzee are the most sought after primate by visitors, but you should look out for the black & white Colobus, red tailed monkey or the grey cheeked manageable. Your guides will be able to show you pitas & different bird species and will give details of the tradit of the plant species within the forest. This walk is for 6 people in a group.

Most people do not realize that they have a choice between chimpanzee tracking and a Chimpanzee habituation experience. There is however another option that allows you to be with chimpanzees all day long in the forests. The full-day Chimpanzee Habituation Experience works with a chimp community which is undergoing habituation. Early visitors can watch chimps leaving their overnight nests between 6:00 – 6:30am before feeding, copulating, hunting, breastfeeding, resting, patrolling and displaying until it is time to build new nests around 7pm. The Habituation Experience is whole year round, and then dinner and overnight as above. Meal plan: F/B

Day 7: Nature Walks & Eco Tours 

Early morning you wake up and take your breakfast and prepare for unforgettable walk in the Magombe/Bigodi swamp to look for the rare shoe bill and other primates like the sitatunga, white and black Columbus, vervet monkeys. We shall also Visit the surrounding villages interacting with locals exploring the Eco-tourism activities in the area like tea estates, after this will drive back to your hotel. After lunch in the afternoon we shall transfer to Semliki national Park. Games drive en-route and upon arrival check in to the luxury Semliki Safari Lodge/Ntoroko Game Lodge or UWA Banda’s. Refresh and relax as you wait for dinner and overnight. Meal plan: F/B

Day 8: Visit Semliki National Park 

After your breakfast in the morning, you head to the long trail which takes like one hour leads the tourists to the outer part meeting the Male” spring that also leads visitors through a patch of forest where red-tailed monkeys as well as the grey-cheeked manageable and black-and-white Colobus monkeys are regular. A tree house which is built is aimed at providing an aerial view of the surrounding areas in the park and also ensuring that visitors enjoy bird watching and game viewing at one focal point. A 30-minute hike through palm forest from the main road leads to the inner, “female” spring, mostly occupied by a boiling geyser. Eggs and matoke (green plantain) can be cooked in these boiling waters and enjoyed by hungry hikers.

In the afternoon you can choose to for the Batwa culture and see how they have managed to life there life depending on Semliki forest and here the traditional inhabitants of the park visit the park to extra materials such as green plants to be prepared as food, timber to build shelters for themselves, also extra different plant life to help them as medicine as well as some tools, though this is beginning to change as a result of interaction with other local communities. OR you can choose to go birding watching at $ 100 USD Per person, the important birding areas are Sempaya as well as Ntandi and these provide excellent viewing point of the birds including the White-crested Horn bill, Red-billed Dwarf Horn bill, and Yellow-throated Nicator, Piping Horn bill Great blue as well as Ross’s Turacos. The important bird spotting point in the park is around River Kirumia. The world endangered species of the shoe bill stork can be regularly seen at close quarters on Lake Albert and forest walks are good for tracking water birds.

Day 9: Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Depart early morning for Queen Elizabeth National Park via Fort Portal. Afternoon stop over for Lunch at selected Hotel/Restaurant. Proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Enjoy a good panoramic view tea plantations and Rwenzori Mountain Ranges. Evening: Proceed to enjoy an evening game drive as you transfer to Bush Lodge that is situated at the banks of the queen Elizabeth National Park and the Kazinga Channel, and your stay will offer you the cool breeze of the Channel and the nice songs of water birds and hippos which later in the night come and graze at the camp. Day 10: Game Drive & Boat Cruise 

After a warm wake up coffee at 6:15am at 6:30am start your early morning game drive to be in time to see the big cats in action. Game drive lasts for 3-4 hrs. Get back for breakfast relax and lunch. At 2:45pm take the boat cruise on the Famous Kazinga Channel which connects Lake George to Lake Edward. The cruise on the water will last 2 hrs. Return by 5:00 pm embark on the evening photographic game drive which will bring you back to the lodge by 6.30 pm. Refresh and have your dinner with the campfire at Bush Lodge. Meal plan: F/B

Day 11: Ishasha Southern Sector

After early breakfast head for Ishasha, this is the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park famous for the tree-climbing lions. Ishasha is dominated by acacia woodland and scrub land and features the meandering Ishasha River, banked by a riparian forest. Dinner and overnight at Ishasha jungle lodge. Meal plan: F/B

Day 12: Ishasha Sector – Bwindi Impenetrable National Park 

With morning breakfast, drive to Bwindi National Park the home of Mountain Gorillas. It is estimated to half of the world’s surviving population of mountain gorillas –880 live within these boundaries shared by Uganda, Rwanda and Congo. The drive is long but enjoyable. Proceed south to Buhoma viewing the terraced hills of Kigezi Highlands once known as Switzerland of Africa. Buhoma will be in the evening. You will then settle in at your lodge for Dinner and overnight as you prepare for tomorrow’s event. Dinner and overnight at Heaven Lodge Buhoma/Silver Back Lodge/Mutanda Lake Resort/Rushaga Gorilla Camp/Buhoma Tented Camp. Meal plan: F/B

Day 13: Gorilla Trekking/Habituation Tours 

After an early morning breakfast with packed lunch, you will be transferred to the gorilla tracking information office where you will receive a pre-briefing by your ranger guide who will then lead you into the jangle at 8.30am tracking these great relatives of ours. Tracking time varies according to the movements of these giants it could take from 3mins to 8hrs so we highly recommend that you are in a good physical condition to track these gorillas. There are porters at the briefing point and if you need one to carry your equipment please do inform the warden and one will be readily available at a fee of $15 USD. The thrill of meeting face to face takes away the pain of some times long and arduous trek.  Each encounter is different and has its own rewards, but you are likely to enjoy the close view of adults feeding, grooming and resting as the youngsters frolic and swing from vines in delightfully playful manner. After tracking, you will walk back to your lodge for overnight stay and dinner and meal plan: F/B

Besides gorilla trekking tours there is also gorilla habitation. The Gorilla Habituation Experience can only be done in Uganda’s Bwindi Impenetrable Forest at the Rushaga Area visiting the Bikingi & Bushaho families and you will spend 4 hours with a gorilla family at the Rushaga sector instead of 1 hour on a Gorilla trekking experience. There are two Gorilla Families being habituated for habituation and it is 4 visitors allowed per day for each group and the habituation cost $ 1500 USD compared the trek costing $ 600 USD per person. You will need to carry long pants like light type, sturdy shoes to help you hiking steep and slippery slopes, long sleeved shirts and blouses to protect your bodies from thorns and itching plants. You may not rule out raining on you and at least a rain coat is needed to protect your bodies and any equipment carried along with like cameras. Also carry insect repellents and sun cream. Day 14: Bwindi Forest – Lake Bunyonyi  

After breakfast, transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, lunch after set out for a 5-hour canoe trek as well as bird watching on the beautiful Lake Bunyonyi, traversing to the gorgeous Kyabahinga peninsula. Here you will be gladly welcomed with songs plus dances by the resident school children. You will enjoy with the locals at least a cup of “Obushera” which is a local brew. You will ascend the Kyabahinga slopes having a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the bird life and the verdant terrain. The view is very breathtaking! The guide will certainly brief you about the history of the area. Among the bird species you will see are the Dusky Tuttle Dove, the Handsome Francolin and Alpine Chat.  Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Arcadia Cottages/Bunyonyi Overland Cottages/Byoona Magara Cottages. Day 15: Lake Bunyonyi- Lake Nabugabo   

After breakfast, prepare to leave this part of the world and head to Lake Nabugabo the hidden wonder of central Uganda close to the town of Masaka. Upon arrival, pleasant evening activity, including a check on the fisher men’s base, perhaps we should buy a fish to eat it for dinner, then dinner and overnight at Nabugabo Cottages. Meal plan: F/B

Day 16: Lake Nabugabo – Kalangala Islands Vacation 

The morning will be yours to enjoy, in the water or on the forested shores. After lunch we will start making our way to Kalangala Island. Board the ferry boat which will take you to Kalangala Islands, an archipelago of 84 Islands on Lake Victoria. On your way to Kalangala you will enjoy the scenic view of Lake Victoria while on the ferry. You will then be transferred to your Hotel for dinner and overnight either at Pearl Gardens Beach Kalangala or Ssese Palm Beach Resort. Meal plan: F/B

Day 17: Kalangala Islands- Entebbe-Jinja Holidays

Early morning after breakfast relax on the island of Kalangala as we check out from the Hotel where we head back to the ferry, board and we sail again on Lake Victoria for 3-hrs back to Nakiwoogo Landing Site in Entebbe, we board our car and drive to our next destination Jinja an adventure capital situated in the Eastern part of Uganda. Dinner and overnight at Wild Water Lodge/Haven Lodge Jinja/Holland Park Cottages, Meal plan: F/B

Day 18: Jinja Sports Adventure

Early morning with breakfast and then you can choose which activities to take as they are many to participate in like White Water Rafting, kayaking the River Nile, sunset cruise, boat cruise while fishing on River Nile, Horseback riding safari along the Nile, all terrain quad bike safari along the Nile, mountain biking along the Nile, Bungee jumping in to the historic river, visit the source of the Nile, Itanda falls near Jinja. Dinner and overnight stay as above, Meal plan: F/B

Day 19: Jinja – Entebbe

Early morning after breakfast you can visit, Ssezibwa falls on way back to Jinja; Ssezibwa Falls is combination of scenic wonders, culture, tradition and legend and can be incorporated into your time to or from Jinja. In the afternoon drive to Entebbe for departure. End of services
